The need for accessible speech and language support, long waiting lists, and gaps in services led us to establish Clapping Hands CIC, a community interest company dedicated to improving early communication outcomes. Our projects focus on providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible support for children and families, ensuring that developmental challenges are identified and addressed early.

At the heart of our work is a strong sense of community. We believe that every child deserves the chance to communicate and connect, and we are committed to creating inclusive spaces where families feel supported, heard, and empowered. Our focus is on reaching families in low-to-middle income areas where access to private therapy is financially challenging. We also support nurseries and early years services that need cost-effective, high-quality developmental resources to help children thrive.

By working closely with nurseries, early years services, and local councils, we build sustainable solutions that not only support individual children but also strengthen the networks around them. Through collaboration, education, and shared experiences, we foster a welcoming environment where parents, educators, and professionals come together to help children develop the communication skills they need for lifelong succes.
