Tiered Funding Model for Accessible Therapy Services

At Clapping Hands CIC, we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their family’s financial situation, has access to the therapy services they need. To achieve this, we’ve created a tiered funding model designed to accommodate families with varying financial capabilities, ensuring no child is left without the necessary support. The model is structured as follows:

Fully Funded (100% Funded): Families who qualify for full financial assistance, based on factors like low household income or eligibility for certain benefits, will receive therapy services at no cost, with the exception of a small donation of 10% to help cover minimal costs. These services will be fully covered through public funding, grants, or partnerships with local councils, making therapy accessible to those in most need while ensuring that families contribute minimally to the sustainability of the service.

Partially Funded (50% Funded): Families who meet specific financial need criteria, such as household income and number of dependents, will be eligible for 50% funding. This option ensures that middle-income families who may still face financial challenges can access the therapy they need, while only needing to cover half of the therapy cost, making it more affordable.

Full-Cost (0% Funded): For families who do not meet the criteria for financial assistance, the full cost of therapy services will apply. These families are financially able to invest in their child’s care without relying on public funding. This tier allows families to access high-quality therapy services while contributing to the sustainability of the programme.

By offering a range of funding options, we aim to make therapy accessible to all families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their financial background.
