Clapping Hands Joins ‘South London Listen’ Be Well Hubs Network

We’re proud to announce that Clapping Hands CIC is now officially a Be Well Hub, part of the South London Listens.

As a Be Well Hub, we are running our SEN Community Hub a supportive space designed for parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or those struggling with their child’s diagnosis or challenges. It provides a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where parents can take a break, connect with others facing similar experiences, and receive emotional support.

The hub offers a safe space for parents to share their concerns, access resources, and find practical guidance, all while their children engage with others and play.

Through our Community Hub we offer early support to families — especially those raising children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) facing social isolation, stress or language barriers.

We’re here to listen, connect, and guide — whether someone is looking for emotional support, practical help, or simply a safe place to talk.

“Be Well Hubs are about reaching people where they already feel safe and supported — and that’s exactly what Clapping Hands has always aimed to be” says the team.

Being part of the Be Well network helps us:

  • Strengthen our work around community mental health

  • Signpost people to relevant services without stigma

  • Be part of a growing movement for prevention, early intervention and inclusion

This work is more important than ever. If you’d like to connect with our hub, or support our mission, please get in touch or visit us during one of our monthly sessions. You can find more information by clicking here.
