On Saturday 26th July, we hosted our very first Community Hub morning — and what a wonderful gathering it was!
We welcomed a small group of families into a calm, welcoming space designed to offer connection, support from our Speech and Language Therapist, and a sense of ease for parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). While parents connected over coffee and conversation, children explored creative activities and enjoyed the relaxed environment.
The feedback from families has been incredibly positive. Many shared how valuable it was to meet others with similar experiences, access support and answers from our therapists and how much they appreciated the space to simply be — without pressure or expectation.
We’re so pleased with how the morning went and are excited to build on this momentum.
Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on our next Community Hub session — we’d love to see you there!
With love and energy,
The Clapping Hands CIC Team
