We’re proud to announce that Clapping Hands CIC is now officially a Be Well Hub, part of the South London Listens initiative led by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and its partners.
As a Be Well Hub, we are committed to being a trusted, welcoming space where our local community can access support for mental health and wellbeing, in a way that’s informal, inclusive, and culturally safe.
Through our Stay & Play Community Hub we offer early support to families — especially those raising children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) facing social isolation, stress or language barriers.
We’re here to listen, connect, and guide — whether someone is looking for emotional support, practical help, or simply a safe place to talk.
“Be Well Hubs are about reaching people where they already feel safe and supported — and that’s exactly what Clapping Hands has always aimed to be” says the team.
Being part of the Be Well network helps us:
Strengthen our work around community mental health
Signpost people to relevant services without stigma
Be part of a growing movement for prevention and early intervention
